A group of Missouri legislators want deed restrictions on St. Louis school buildings lifted so they could be bought for other schools if they are closed.

Sen. Jim Lembke is holding a news conference with other lawmakers on the issue Monday. He's seeking support for a Senate bill that would allow charter or private schools to buy closed buildings in the St. Louis School district.
