The St Louis Artist Guild and Galleries is located in the beautiful Oak Knoll Park in Clayton Missouri. The renovated stone mansion that the Guild is located in was once the home of Alvin D. Goldman and his family which was built in 1929. In 1995, The Artists Guild moved into the mansion which has four floors with gallery space, a public art library, studio space, offices and a conference room. The Guild hosts different exhibitions throughout the year, holds local and regional competitions with cash awards, including the annual Young Artist Showcase, holds the monthly exhibit of artwork by elementary school children and special needs children, conducts children and adult workshops and classes, and sponsors community service projects and programs.
